Real Techniques Core Collection!

(Brushes aren't sold separately)

Hello beautiful people!
Today I come to you with a brush review! This brush set from Real Techniques is amazing, and the fact that you can pick this up for about £20 from Boots is even more so! If you are starting out with makeup and makeup brushes I would 100% recommend you checking this set out as it has everything you need to get a flawless face! Also all of the brush hairs are synthetic which is great!

Buffing brush (far left) - This brush is absolutely perfect for foundation! Its the quickest way to buff in your foundation to give a flawless finish and it doesn't leave any streak marks which is amazing! I used to use my Sigma flat top kabuki brush which I loved, but now I am happy to say that I have a new favorite!

Pointed foundation brush (middle left) - This brush I love to use to blend in my concealer, it is super fast and I feel like this brush is the perfect size to use under the eyes as it also fits in the inner corner! This brush is retailed to be foundation brush, but frankly, I think it's way to small which is why for concealer!

Detailer brush (middle right) - This is such a small cute brush (hence why it's called the detailer brush) This brush I will use to apply concealer to any blemishes that I may have as the size makes it perfect to get a precise application!

Contour brush (far right) - I love this brush, I feel like it can be used for so many different things such as, contouring, applying powder, buffing in concealer, blusher, and highlighter, which is what I use it for! Its the perfect size to apply powder highlighter to the tops of your cheekbones and down the center of the face to give a prefect glow!

I hope that you guys go out and check this out because it is truly amazing and the quality is very similar to MAC brushes but for a fraction of the price!
Thanks for reading guys!

Millie xx

  14. Thanks for the review. I was a bit confused and couldn't decide if I wanted the Expert Face Brush or the Buffing Brush (and entire Core Collection). I guess I need them both :)
