On the go makeup essentials!


Hello beautiful people! 
Today I thought I would share with you guys the makeup items that I chuck in my bag for on the go. I always like to have a few products in my bag so I can touch up my makeup throughout the day to ensure that it hasn't all disappeared!

First things first, the bag! This cute little makeup bag is from Benefit, I'm not too sure where you can pick this up from but I will try to have a link to it! This is the perfect size to throw all my essential makeup products into, it also fits into any bag that I tend to bring out with me! 
The first thing that you can see pocking out is my Bare Minerals retractable kabuki brush! This comes with a lid as well so is perfect for travelling! I use this with my MAC msf natural to take away any shine that has produced throughout the day and to give some extra coverage if needed! (My makeup always comes off around my t-zone so I like to bring a powder and concealer to give me some of my coverage back!) Concealer also comes in handy if you need to touch up those under-eye circles! A blush is also something that I carry around with me! I always like to have that added colour on my cheekbones so applying a little of this with my Real Techniques contour brush is the perfect little touch up!

Mascara is the next thing in my bag of goodies! I don't always bring this with me but if I am out for the whole day I like to give my lashes some attention once in a while! I would recommend getting a travel size mascara as they are a lot easier to fit in a bag and bring along with you! To go along with this I also like to touch up my eyeliner so I just carry around a nude Rimmel kohl pencil to apply to my waterline! I also find that I start to look more and more like a panda as the day progresses so cotton buds are an absolute must for me! They come in so handy to take away any mascara that has fallen under the eyes! And last but not least, every women must have some kind of lip product in their bag! You are eating a drinking all day so your lipstick is bound to start disappearing!

I keep the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer with me everywhere, but when I go away I also have the Benefit Bad Gal Lash as well as loads of other Benefit minis perfect for giving the 'under the skin' glow effect. The RT contour brush is one of my absolute faves at the minute, it's got so many uses!

  5. I always keep the lipstick I put on in the morning in my bag - however I always forget to re apply! No wonder I never finish any of them!

  17. Great post, I absolutely love your make up bag, I need to get a new one but I always seem to go for ones that are far too big and then I can't fit it in some of my bags. This looks like it's the perfect size!
